The construction of Titanic had began in 1909, and the ship was launched on May 31, 1911. At that time, Titanic was the largest ship in the world. The measures is 882 feet long and 175 feet tall. It had a total of nine decks and could carry over 2,200 passengers and crew.

The Titanic was equipped with the latest technology and luxury amenities, including a swimming pool, Turkish baths, and a grand staircase. It was also known for its high-end dining options, which included a formal dining room and a café-style restaurant.

The Voyage and Tragedy:


On April 10, 1912, the Titanic set sail from Southampton, England, on its maiden voyage to New York City. The ship made stops in Cherbourg, France, and Queenstown (now known as Cobh), Ireland, to pick up additional passengers and mail.

On the night of April 14, the Titanic struck an iceberg present in the North Atlantic Ocean, causing it to flood and ultimately sink. Despite efforts to evacuate the ship, there were not enough lifeboats for all of the passengers and crew. As a result, more than 1,500 people were lost their lives in the disaster.
