DWARAKA ( The Lost City Of Gold )

In 1963 a mysterious city was found in Arabian sea near Gujarat named  DWARAKA. 

Dwaraka is the Ancient city that sank in Arabian sea in 5000 years ago.

According to hinduism dwaraka was the city ruled by lord krishna ( one of the major god in Hinduism). Krishna is the king of Dwaraka. 

Shri krishna built dwaraka in the the middle of the sea. To protect his people from jarasandha. 

Krishna killed his father-in-law kamsa because of his karma (work) and Evilness. 

Kams Maharaj is very cruel and powerful ruler in BHAGAVAT ( one of the major text of Hinduism) 

Shri Maha Vishnu born to Devaki ( kamsa's sister) to kill Kamsa maharaj. 

Krishna and his people were live in MATHURA 

Shri Krishna kills kams Maharaj with his hands in  Malla Yudh ( Fight) . 

After the death of kams Maharaj his wives ASTI & PRAPTi  asks her father to kill Krishna for killing her husband. 

For his daughters sake Jarasandha gets his army and declare the war on Mathura (where krishna lives) . 

Krishna and his brother BALRAM defeat jarasandha and his army.  But jarasandh runs away from the war. 

After few years jarasandha bring all the monsters together. And he went to fight again in Mathura. But again jarasandh was defeated by Krishna. 

Thus jarasandha attacked Mathura seventeen times and defeated by Krishna. 

For prosperity and safety of the people in Mathura from jarasandha, Krishna asks samudra (god of sea)  12 yojanas (96 sqaure kilometers) of land from the sea to build Dwaraka. 

Krishna built Dwaraka between the sea with tight security. 

He shifts Mathura people to Dwaraka. Mathura people were safe in Krishna hands. 

As per the Hindu texts DWARAKA IS THE GOLDEN CITY. 

Dwaraka is the city that never had been exist before in the earth. 

According t some arts and texts it's beauty is indescribable. 

From some hindu texts dwaraka is built different with large pillars, Mandirs. 

Dwaraka is in hands of nature like in the same way that baby in the hands of her mother. 

Due to the Curse of GANDHARI 

(Kaurava's mother) Dwaraka was sank in Arabian sea after krishna's death in 5000 years ago. 

Now Dwaraka was found in Arabian sea.

Dwaraka is Excavated by the DECCAN COLLEGE (pune)  and the department of archeology, the government of Gujarat in 1963 under the direction of   H.D SANKALIA.

They did the carbon dating on the Rocks and Fossils and declared that the things are 5000 years old. 

According to Hinduism 5000 years ago means Which is the  period of KRISHNA. 

The search for its submerged part began in 1930 and the first excavation took place in 1963.

As per Hindu beliefs..., 

The age of KALI ( KALI YUG )  began with the drowning of DWARAKA.
